Research Interests

My general research interests are to elucidate the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and identify potential targets for cancer therapy. Currently, research in my lab is focused on the field of cancer metabolism in KRAS-driven lung tumorigenesis. We expect to identify metabolic vulnerabilities in KRAS-driven lung tumor and determine if we can improve lung cancer treatment by targeting tumor specific metabolic pathways. Combination of genetically engineered mouse models, the state-of-the-art metabolomic and lipidomic analysis, and in vivo isotope tracing and metabolic flux analysis studies are being utilized to achieve these goals.
