Research Interests
My research focuses on lung injury in response to chemical inhalation. Particular areas of interest include: microparticle formation in response to tissue destruction and their subsequent impact on the body, the roles of fibrin(ogen) and blood-derived coagulation factors on airway obstruction and wound healing, development of inhalation models for chemical threat agents, airway patency in the Cystic Fibrosis disease state.
