Research Interests
The focus of Dr. Brunetti’s research is the identification of factors that influence an individual’s response to medications. This information can be utilized to personalize patient care and enhance outcomes. Dr. Brunetti is well-versed in the conduct of human clinical trials and prospective pharmacokinetic studies. In addition, Dr. Brunetti has extensive experience in the conduct of observational studies to generate novel hypothesis for prospective testing. As co-director of the Center of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Translational Research and Education (CEPTRE), Dr. Brunetti works closely with basic science faculty in translational research geared at identification of mechanisms conferred variability in patient response to medications.
