Anita Siu, PharmD, BCPPS to Serve as the 2025 BPS Chair-elect
Dr. Anita Siu, BCPPS, is a Clinical Professor, the Vice Chair for Teaching and Learning, and Director of Faculty Mentoring at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She is a Pediatric Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator and practices at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a part of the Hackensack Meridian Health System (HMH), and serves as a liaison between the Department of Pharmacy and Pediatrics. Currently, she leads the HMH Pediatric Specialty Pharmacotherapy Council network initiatives. Dr. Siu earned her Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed two years of Pharmacy residency training, General Pediatrics and Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care.

Dr. Siu was the first pharmacist inducted as a member of the Stuart D. Cook, M.D. Master Educators’ Guild at Rutgers University and elected as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Rutgers Biomedical Health Science Faculty Council. Dr. Siu has also served two terms as Chair of the BPS Pediatric Pharmacy Specialty Council. In 2023, Dr. Siu was elected to the American Academy of Pediatrics Section of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (SOCPT) Executive Committee as the Pediatric Pharmacy Association liaison.
