Congratulations to our 2023-2024 NCPA Student Chapter for placing in the Top 10 of the 2024 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition.
The goal of the competition is to foster interest in owning an independent community pharmacy, by encouraging students to research and formulate an action plan for taking ownership of an existing independent community pharmacy or establishing a new pharmacy.
In recognition of this achievement, the competing group, made up of EMSOP students Taryn Chan, Tiffany Chao, Palmer Holland, Daniel Jacob, Melissa Kudlak, Jessica Yoon and Belinda Zhang will be recognized at the NCPA Foundation awards ceremony during the National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention in Ohio this fall.
The group will also receive a $300 check from the NCPA Foundation to help assist with travel expenses related to the Annual Convention.
