Dr. Anita Siu, PharmD, BCPPS, Clinical Professor, Pharmacy Practice and Administration; Vice Chair for Teaching and Learning; and Director of Faculty Mentoring at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, has been appointed the 2026 Board of Pharmacy Specialties Chair.
Prior to her appointment as board chair, Dr. Siu served two terms as Chair of the Specialty Council for Pediatric Pharmacy for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS), and in 2021 began her service to the Board of Directors for BPS. Dr. Siu is the first Rutgers faculty member to serve on the BPS Pediatric Specialty Council, to be elected to the Board of Directors, and to become chair.
In addition to her role at EMSOP, Anita practices at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a part of the Hackensack Meridian Health System (HMH), and serves as a liaison between the Departments of Pharmacy and Pediatrics.
This year, BPS will celebrate its 50th anniversary. In recognition of this major milestone, Dr. Siu will travel to numerous national conferences as a proud representative of BPS as well as EMSOP.
