The team-based competition, sponsored by the ASHP Foundation, with support from Wolters Kluwer and McGraw Hill, challenges student pharmacists with complex patient case scenarios, focusing on topics such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.

Students analyze and make treatment recommendations for clinical scenarios that they may encounter in the future as pharmacists. This year 133 schools and colleges of pharmacy participated in the ASHP competition.
