Luigi Brunetti, associate professor and department chair, Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, is leading a project to be funded by the Rutgers Center for Biomedical Informatics and Health Artificial Intelligence. The Center is a transformative initiative designed to position Rutgers as a national leader in computational medicine and health AI, Dr. Brunetti’s team includes colleagues from Rutgers’ Office of Information Technology and the School of Health Professions. Their project, “AI-Derived Multi-Dimensional Therapeutic Sequencing for Precision Drug Response and Toxicity Prediction,” aims to modernize the management of drugs by shifting from a reactive, trial-and-error approach to a proactive, AI-driven precision model.
