We are proud to announce that the P&T team from the Rutgers AMCP chapter will be competing nationally as finalists at the AMCP Annual Conference this April. This team is comprised of four fifth-year students: Amy Hu, Thomas Hong, Jian Guo, and Kevin Pang. The Pharmacy and Therapeutics Competition is an annual event held by the AMCP Foundation to encourage students to work together to evaluate a drug, make recommendations for formulary placement, and present the findings to professional judges. Out of 51 schools this year, the Rutgers team was selected as one of the top 8 finalists after competing at the local competition and national semi-finals. They look forward to competing at finals with the other teams in Houston, Texas next month.
