125th Anniversary & Grand Opening Celebration
Friday, October 6, 2017
6 – 8 p.m.

The role of the pharmacist is expanding. So are we! Join us for the reveal of a bigger, bolder Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Our new building addition triples our teaching space and provides students with custom learning environments and cutting-edge simulation suites for the way 21st-century pharmacy is practiced.

We’re celebrating its debut—and our 125th anniversary year—with a party for alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends. Come see for yourself! Bring your family or join your classmates for the festivities:

Cocktail party: Meet in the soaring, sky-lit atrium for drinks and hearty appetizers, with music by students of Rutgers’ Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Grand opening ceremony: Gather at the glass and terrazzo staircase for the ribbon cutting, a toast in honor of Dean Emeritus John L. Colaizzi, and remarks from President Robert Barchi and other dignitaries.

Student-led tours: Explore our new teaching labs, simulation suites, high-tech auditoriums, and café and student commons, guided by pharmacy student ambassadors.

There is no charge for the event and parking is free in Lots #58 and #58A. Attire is business casual. We are eager to show off the expanded home of Rutgers pharmacy and hope to see you there!
