Transfer Course Appeal Process

Transfer Evaluation Appeals for Students Transferring from Other Universities or Colleges

Doctor of Pharmacy Transfer Students will receive a Transfer Course Evaluation Worksheet during the summer prior to Fall enrollment.

Students who wish to appeal their Doctor of Pharmacy Transfer Course Evaluation Worksheet Requirements to the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy must do so within 30 days of receiving the evaluation.

Students transferring from NJ Community Colleges should first refer to to determine the proper evaluation of any given course offered at a New Jersey Community College. If the transfer evaluation and are in disagreement the student should notify Ms. Jeannette Decker in the Office of Academic Services, School of Pharmacy, Room 102. The letter should include the student name, RUID, and the specific information detailing the error. All clerical errors will be corrected promptly and the student will be notified by email within 30 days.

If the student is appealing the nature of the evaluation (including NJ Community College transfers whose evaluations are correctly stated on, they shall submit a completed copy of the Transfer Course Evaluation Worksheet with an attached syllabus of the course in question to the Undergraduate Director of the specific academic department in which transfer credit is sought. If the department agrees that the evaluation for the course needs to be updated they will notify the Office of Academic Services. Upon such written notification, the student record will be adjusted accordingly within 30 days of receipt of notification from the academic department. will be updated appropriately if applicable.
