WELCOME!
Newly admitted students to the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy need to attend the New Student Academic Orientation held by the Dean's Office, the Office of Academic Services and the Office for Student Development.

Class of 2013 Transfer Orientation
Students new to the New Brunswick campus admitted to the School of Pharmacy by transfer (including external, 2+4, and joint articulation program transfers) are required to attend an orientation on August 28, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. More information will be mailed during July. This session is optional for internal transfers previously enrolled on the Rutgers-New Brunswick Campus  (i.e. New Brunswick school-to-school or re-enrollment).

All members of the Class of 2013 (new transfers and continuing students) are required to attend the Professional Year 1 Orientation on August 31, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in ARC 103. Members of the Class of 2013 are also encouraged to attend the Pharmacy Governing Council Big Brother/Big Sister Picnic described below.

Class of 2015  First Year Orientation
All newly admitted freshmen are required to attend University New Student Orientation on either the July 6-7 or July 27-28 dates. More information can be found at: http://nso.rutgers.edu/summer-orientation. Note that only the two sessions listed above will include a pharmacy specific academic session led by the School of Pharmacy Administration and Faculty.

Members of the Class of 2015 are also encouraged to attend the Pharmacy Governing Council Big Brother/Big Sister Picnic described below.

August 31, 2009. Front lawn of the Pharmacy Building (William Levine Hall) at 12:00 Noon. More information will be sent by mail in late July or early August.

BIG BROTHER/BIG SISTER
Letters will be sent to each new student with contact information for a Big Brother or Big Sister. Your Big Brother or Sister is a currently enrolled student at the School of Pharmacy who can be a resource of information as you become acclimated to the New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus of Rutgers University. The Big Brother/Big Sister Picnic will be an opportunity to meet up with your Big Brother or Sister on campus. You are more than welcome to contact him or her prior to coming on campus for information and help in knowing how to prepare for the Fall semester.
