Dr. Siu is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and a Neonatal/Pediatric Pharmacotherapy Specialist at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, a Member of the Meridian Health System. She received her Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed two years of Pharmacy residency training, General Pediatrics and Neonatal/Pediatric Critical Care.
At the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Dr. Siu is the course coordinator for the Physical Assessment and participates in many other lectures such as Pediatric Infant Formulas in Self Care and Home Care, Neonatology lectures in Endocrine and Therapy and Special Populations, Pediatric Seizures in Neuropsychiatric Therapeutics, and many others in the Pediatric Pharmacotherapy course. Dr. Siu created the first Teaching and Learning (T&L) Certificate Program available to all post-doctoral pharmacy trainees, residents and pharmaceutical industry fellows, in New Jersey. In 2014, Dr. Siu was the first pharmacist inducted as a member to the Stuart D. Cook, M.D. Master Educators’ Guild.
At the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, Dr. Siu has created her own clinical practice and is a liaison between the Department of Pharmacy and Pediatrics. Throughout the years, she has implemented therapeutic guidelines in neonates and pediatrics. Dr. Siu currently leads the Pediatric Pharmacotherapeutics Subcommittee and is a member in many other interdisciplinary committees
