Associate VP & Professor II Testifies before Congress

In March, Patrick Sinko, Associate Vice President, Research Advancement, Office of Research and Economic Development and Parke-Davis Professor of Pharmaceutics & Drug Delivery testified before the US – China Economic and Security Review Commission, a United States Congressional Subcommittee.  The hearing on China’s Pursuit of Next Frontier Tech: Computing, Robotics, and Biotechnology, held in the in the Dirksen Senate Office Building, focused on the steps the Chinese government has taken to support the computing, robotics, and biotechnology sectors, U.S. and Chinese technological leadership in these sectors, and the broader implications of these policies for U.S. economic and national security interests.  Dr. Sinko was asked to testify on “State of Nanotechnology R&D in China: Implications for Future US Competitiveness”.
