WELCOME
The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy of Rutgers Alumni Association is an active supporter of current students, our alumni, and the profession of pharmacy. The Pharmacy Alumni Association provides scholarships, financial support for student travel to professional meetings, and supports the annual Graduation Reception. In addition, the Association has sponsored events at various pharmacy meetings, including APhA, ASHP, and NJSHP. As a volunteer organization, we are always looking for motivated individuals willing to help out in any way. EMSOP Alumni Association All-Class Reunion Moves from November to the May Rutgers University Reunion Weekend!
Come back to “The Banks” to renew old friendships, make new ones, and relive your years at Rutgers. For those classes that end in either a “4” or “9”, 2009 marks one of your alumni milestones. Whether it’s your 1st or 75th reunion, your reunions are special. So mark your calendar, put aside the excuses, bring your family, and come to RU!
Reunion Weekend is packed with many exciting programs and enjoyable social events that will have you reminiscing back to the days when you were a student in that noisy college town on the banks of the old Raritan. The Pharmacy Alumni Association has moved our annual reunion from November to Reunion Weekend, so we can join in the fun with all of our non-pharmacy friends. Here are some of the major events that are scheduled from May 15th -May 16th.
Please join the Dean, faculty and your alumni association in honoring Professors Thomas Medwick and Nicholas Lordi as Alumni of the Year as well as the Classes of 1959 (50 Year Reunion Class), 1984 (25 Year Reunion Class), and 1999 (10 Year Reunion Class). The fun will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 PM followed by a buffet dinner. We urge all alumni, especially those that graduated in years ending in a “4” or “9”, to attend and reconnect with their classmates, fellow School of Pharmacy graduates and faculty. The cost is $55 per person.
Enjoy a fantastic wine tasting and culinary experience with your fellow alumni. Complete this evening with live cabaret entertainment performed by Livingston Theatre Company Alumni.
Other events earlier in the day of our Reunion Dinner on May 16, 2009:
The reunion celebration continues with a block party right on College Avenue with family-fun activities for all ages. Enjoy a tented barbeque along with crafts, inflatable rides, face painting, caricatures, music and various forms of entertainment and fun!
Please visit the Rutgers University Alumni Association website for more details: Ralumni.com/Reunion. Online registration begins March 2009.
